Farm Collector Writer’s Guidelines
At Farm Collector Magazine, the focus is on antique farm equipment. From old engines, tractors and balers, to antique windmills, weathervanes and pumps, we cover it all in every issue of this monthly publication.
We are interested in specific pieces in collections, restoration projects, early farm practices, unique collections/pieces and interesting “finds.” Photographs of equipment must identify the equipment (manufacturer, year of manufacture, model name and/or number). We are very interested in specific history of equipment: How and where was it used? Condition when found? How did the current owner find the piece? Most importantly, read the magazine to familiarize yourself with our content. If in doubt about your subject matter, please contact the editor for guidance.
Submissions are always welcome, but the act of submitting an article does not in itself guarantee publication. Articles and article proposals may be sent by e-mail or U.S. Mail. When e-mailing, please send articles as Word attachments. Captioned photographs and illustrations may be sent by e-mail or U.S. Mail (on a CD or as prints). Digital photos should be high resolution (300 dpi or larger).
Farm Collector cannot be responsible for returning unsolicited manuscripts, photographs, illustrations or other materials.
